Winterfest Chili Cook-off

We are fired up to host a community Chili Cook-Off in partnership with the Yankee Springs Snowmobile Association as part of the Gun Lake Winterfest Season of Events.
You’re invited to compete, taste, and cheer everyone on!
CompetitorsThink your chili has what it takes?
• Register anytime between now and January 18th
• $20 entry fee
• All chili must be cooked on-site and follow Health Department guidelines
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be awarded
• The overall winner will be announced on stage at Winterfest on 02/21/2026

TastersCome hungry and ready to vote!
After on-site cooking wraps up on January 24th, the public is invited to taste and vote for their favorite chili.
• $5 entry for tasting + voting
• A portion of all $5 tasting ticket sales will be donated to the Yankee Springs Snowmobile Association
Event Timeline• On-Site Cooking: 10 AM – 1 PM
• Public Tasting: 1 PM – 3 PM
• Judging & Awards: 4 PM
